What happens on the day
Arrive & brief
Arrive 30 minutes before departure for a pre-flight briefing on the aircraft, controls, instruments and safety features. Family can come along for photos.
Take control
Sit in the left-hand captain's seat. Your instructor handles take-off, then hands you the controls to fly straight and level, make turns and learn the basics of navigation.
Certificate & logbook
Your instructor lands, and you leave with a commemorative certificate and a record of your flight time, the first entry towards your pilot's licence.
